On September 8, 2026, Adam Hanft notified The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company of his immediate retirement from the Board of Directors. As a Class III director, Hanft’s term was scheduled to expire at the 2028 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Despite leaving the board, the company will maintain its consulting relationship with Hanft Ideas LLC, where Mr. Hanft serves as principal and CEO. The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company manufactures and markets lawn care, gardening, and outdoor living products.
