Ting Fiber agrees to transfer Colorado Springs dark fiber lease to Google Fiber for $322.8M in obligations

Ting Fiber, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Tucows Inc., entered into a Novation Agreement to assign its Dark Fiber Network Lease with Colorado Springs Utilities to Google Fiber Colorado, LLC. The transaction is expected to close on March 31, 2027, subject to customary conditions including the absence of uncured breaches and material adverse changes. Following closing and post-closing obligations by April 2027, Tucows' $322.8 million Parent Guaranty will terminate. Ting will continue serving customers through June 30, 2027. Tucows operates in domain services, communications technology, and fiber-optic infrastructure.
