Tempus AI entered into agreements with Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) and Pathos to expand the use of its de-identified multimodal real-world data, software, and machine learning models. The transaction includes a Statement of Work with BMS for oncology data access and analysis services, valued at $137.5 million over five years ending December 2031. Additionally, Tempus licensed neurology data and an agentic tool to Pathos for use in collaboration with BMS, generating up to $55 million in fees based on the delivery of 500,000 patient records over a five-year term. The agreements were approved by a special committee of disinterested directors due to related-party overlaps between Tempus and Pathos. Tempus AI operates in the healthcare technology sector, providing data analytics and artificial intelligence solutions for precision medicine.
