Tango Therapeutics announced updated results from its ongoing Phase 1/2 clinical trial evaluating vopimetostat in combination with Revolution Medicines' RAS(ON) inhibitor daraxonrasib. As of August 20, 2026, the combination demonstrated an 82% objective response rate (ORR), a median progression-free survival not yet reached, and an 88% nine-month PFS rate in efficacy-evaluable patients with second- or third-line MTAP-deleted/RAS-mutant metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Following FDA interactions, the company plans to initiate a global, randomized registrational Phase 3 trial of vopimetostat plus daraxonrasib in front-line MTAP-deleted PDAC in the first half of 2027. Additionally, Tango announced a strategic reprioritization of its R&D activities to focus on PRMT5-targeted therapies and intends to reduce its workforce by approximately 14%. Tango Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing targeted cancer therapies.
