Uranium Royalty Corp. completed a plan of arrangement to acquire a 92% interest in the Sweetwater Entities, which holds trona royalty assets and landholdings in Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. The transaction involved an aggregate consideration of approximately US$1.14 billion, comprising US$330 million in cash and 223,252,749 New URC shares at a deemed value of US$3.64 per share. The company is transitioning to a US-domiciled parent company, New URC, and will be delisted from the TSX. Uranium Royalty Corp. operates in the uranium and mineral royalty sector.
