Vale S.A. announced that its Board of Directors resolved to remove Board member Marcelo Gasparino da Silva following an investigation by an independent external law firm. The investigation confirmed that da Silva leaked confidential information regarding a Board meeting held on June 19, 2026, violating the company's Misconduct Management Policy. The Board also removed him from the Nomination and Governance Committee and the People and Compensation Committee. The removal is subject to shareholder approval at a forthcoming General Shareholders’ Meeting. Vale is a mining company that produces iron ore and other metals.
