The Board of Directors appointed Robin Swartz, currently Chief Business and Operating Officer, as President effective October 20, 2026. She is expected to succeed Alfred W. Sandrock Jr. as CEO following anticipated acute safety data for VY1706 in early Alzheimer's disease in Q1 2027. Dr. Sandrock will remain on the Board. Swartz received a $625,000 base salary and equity awards including options for 318,500 shares and RSUs for 68,250 shares. Voyager Therapeutics develops gene therapies for rare diseases.
