Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. presented favorable GLP toxicology data for VY1706, an investigational tau silencing gene therapy for Alzheimer's disease, at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference. The data in non-human primates demonstrated a favorable tolerabilityability profile and dose-dependent CNS delivery with up to 75% lowering of tau protein in brain regions. Following FDA Investigational New Drug clearance in June 2026, the company plans to begin dosing in a multi-site, open-label, dose-escalation clinical trial in the second half of 2026.
