Yum! Brands completed the sale of its global Pizza Hut business (excluding Mainland China) to Toppings TopCo, LLC for $1.488 billion in cash on September 1, 2026. This transaction follows the August 7, 2026 sale of the Chinese Pizza Hut business to Yum China Holdings, bringing the aggregate proceeds from the full divestiture to approximately $2.7 billion. Concurrently, Aaron Powell resigned as CEO of the Pizza Hut business effective September 1, 2026. The company now operates KFC, Taco Bell, and Habit Burger & Grill in over 150 countries.
