Adaptin Bio, Inc. announced that enrollment has opened for a Phase 1 clinical trial evaluating its proprietary BRiTE therapeutic, APTN-101, as a treatment for glioblastoma (GBM). The open-label, dose-escalation study is being conducted in collaboration with Duke University and aims to enroll up to 15 adult patients. The primary objective is to evaluate the safety profile and maximum tolerated dose of APTN-101 in patients with WHO Grade IV Malignant Glioma expressing EGFRvIII. Preclinical data indicated a greater than 7-fold increase in brain distribution compared to standard T-cell engagers, resulting in complete tumor eradication in 70%-80% of mice models.
