On August 24, 2026, The Boeing Company entered into a $3.0 billion, 364-day revolving credit agreement with Citibank and JPMorgan Chase to replace its expiring facility. This new agreement requires Boeing to maintain liquidity of at least $5.0 billion and restricts consolidated debt to no more than 60% of total capital. Concurrently, the company amended its existing five-year credit agreements: the $4.0 billion facility dated May 15, 2024, was extended to terminate on May 15, 2030, and the $3.0 billion facility dated August 24, 2023, was extended to terminate on August 24, 2029. Both five-year agreements also now include a covenant requiring minimum liquidity of $5.0 billion. These transactions secure significant short-term and medium-term financing capacity for the aerospace manufacturer.
The Boeing Company appointed Ryan L. Shedd as Senior Vice President and Controller, effective upon the filing of its 2026 Annual Report on Form 10-K. Mr. Shedd will also serve as principal accounting officer, succeeding Michael J. Cleary, who plans to retire in 2027 after over two decades of service. Mr. Shedd brings nearly twenty years of experience from Ernst & Young LLP and receives a $600,000 base salary with significant incentive compensation packages. The Boeing Company is an aerospace manufacturer that designs, produces, and sells commercial jetliners, military aircraft, satellites, and defense systems.
