Century Aluminum reported second quarter 2026 results with net sales of $752.1 million and diluted earnings per share of $2.39. Net income attributable to the company was $249.3 million, a sequential decrease from Q1's $337.5 million, primarily due to a one-time gain on the sale of Hawesville in the prior quarter. Adjusted net income rose 50.7% sequentially to $257.3 million, and adjusted EBITDA increased to $326.9 million, driven by higher realized metal prices and increased production from the Mt. Holly expansion and Grundartangi Line 2 restart. The company received a $94.3 million tax refund in July and reported liquidity of $784.9 million at quarter-end. For the third quarter, Century expects adjusted EBITDA to range between $325 million and $345 million. Century Aluminum owns and operates primary aluminum smelting facilities in the United States and Iceland.
