Dakota Gold Corp. announced the retirement of Dr. Robert Quartermain as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 18, 2026. He will remain a Director and Board Co-Chair. The Board appointed Jack Henris, currently President and COO, to succeed him as CEO and director on the same date. Mr. Henris brings over 35 years of mining experience from roles at Newmont, Barrick, and Goldcorp. His compensation includes a $360,000 base salary, a discretionary bonus up to 75% of base, and long-term incentives of at least $630,000. Shawn Campbell was appointed Chief Development Officer to support shareholder engagement and construction financing for the Richmond Hill Gold Project.
