Aptevo announces mipletamig priming-dose refinements substantially reduce infusion-related reactions
APVOAptevo Therapeutics Inc.
Aptevo Therapeutics announced a clinical development milestone for its lead candidate, mipletamig, following successive refinements to the drug's priming-dose regimen. These adjustments have resulted in a substantial reduction in infusion-related reactions (IRRs) during initial treatment without compromising therapeutic dosing or efficacy. The improvement addresses tolerability objectives identified through discussions with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), strengthening the candidate's profile for Phase 2 development. Data from the ongoing RAINIER dose optimization study will be presented at the American Society of Hematology meeting in December 2026, and the company expects to complete the current study by year-end 2026. Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing novel multispecific immuno-oncology therapeutics for cancer.
