Aptevo reports 10 of 47 frontline AML patients advanced to stem cell transplant with mipletamig combo
APVOAptevo Therapeutics Inc.
Aptevo Therapeutics announced that ten patients (21%) with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia treated with mipletamig in combination with venetoclax and azacitidine have advanced to allogeneic stem cell transplant. This rate compares favorably with the 0.7% historical transplant rate observed with standard-of-care venetoclax and azacitidine alone, adding clinical evidence supporting the drug's potential to improve outcomes in patients initially deemed unfit for intensive chemotherapy. The company expects its RAINIER dose optimization trial to conclude by year-end 2026, with an FDA interaction and initiation of a Phase 2 clinical trial anticipated in the first half of 2027. Aptevo Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing novel multispecific immuno-oncology therapeutics for cancer.
