Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. announced a 93% clinical benefit rate for its mipletamig triplet therapy in evaluable frontline acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients with TP53 mutations. Among 14 evaluable patients, 13 experienced clinical benefit, including an 11-patient complete remission or complete remission with incomplete hematologic recovery (CR/CRi) rate of 79%. These results nearly double the published venetoclax plus azacitidine outcomes for this difficult-to-treat population. The RAINIER study is expected to complete dose optimization by year-end, with regulatory interaction planned for the first half of 2027. Aptevo Therapeutics Inc. operates in the biotechnology industry, developing novel multispecific immuno-oncology therapeutics.
