ASUR reports September passenger traffic unchanged at 8.6 million

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste reported total passenger traffic for September 2026 reached 8.6 million, remaining flat year-over-year. The figure includes the first full month of operations in Brazil, Costa Rica, Curacao and Ecuador following the CPC Aeroportos acquisition. Traffic increased in Colombia (5.7%), Puerto Rico (3.1%), Brazil (2.6%) and Ecuador (1.7%), while declining in Mexico City (-6.1%), Costa Rica (-6.1%) and Curacao (-0.9%). Year-to-date traffic fell 0.7% to 57.2 million. The company operates a diversified portfolio of airport concessions across the Americas.
