Braskem S.A. announced the closing of a transaction in which NSP Investimentos S.A. sold shares to the Shine I Fundo de Investimento em Participações (FIP) in exchange for 547,257,590 first series and 273,628,795 second series debentures. The acquired shares represent 34.3234% of Braskem's total capital stock, including 50.1108% of its voting capital. Consequently, the FIP will submit a request for a public tender offer to acquire up to all of Braskem's outstanding common and preferred shares.
