Banco Santander completed the acquisition of TSB Banking Group plc for approximately EUR 3.3 billion on April 30, 2026, and announced an agreement to acquire Webster Financial Corporation for USD 12.2 billion. The company also completed the sale of Santander Bank Polska to Erste Group Bank AG for approximately EUR 7 billion, generating a net capital gain of EUR 1,895 million. For H1 2026, profit attributable to the parent rose 31% to EUR 8,973 million, while underlying attributable profit increased 15% to EUR 7,328 million. A final cash dividend of EUR 12.50 cents per share for H2 2025 results was paid in May 2026.
