Prospector 5 rig incident in Gabon leaves three dead, two missing

Borr Drilling Limited provided an update on the Prospector 5 rig incident offshore Gabon. Of the 115 personnel on board at the time of the incident, 110 have returned ashore and are receiving care in Gabon. An underwater remotely operated vehicle located the bodies of three individuals, with recovery efforts underway. Extensive search and rescue operations continue for two individuals who remain unaccounted for. Approximately 280 cubic meters of marine diesel fuel were onboard at the time of the incident, and measures are being taken to mitigate environmental impact in coordination with the customer and local authorities. Borr Drilling Limited operates offshore drilling rigs.
