Tyler previously joined the bp Board as a non-executive director in April 2025 and served as Interim Chair since May 26, 2026. He brings significant experience from his tenure as CEO of Balfour Beatty plc (2005-2013) and current roles as Chair of Grafton Group plc and Senior Independent Director of Anglo American plc.
