Caterpillar Inc. announced that Derrick York, currently president of Solar Turbines and senior vice president, has been appointed group president of the Resource Industries segment, effective November 1, 2026. York brings over 16 years of experience at Caterpillar, including leading global business units for industrial gas turbines and compressors. Caterpillar Inc. is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives.
