Conduent agrees to pay $80M to settle class action lawsuit arising from January 2025 data breach

On October 16, 2026, Conduent entered into a Class Action Settlement Agreement and Release with plaintiffs in the In re: Conduent Business Services Data Breach Litigation. The company will fund $80 million into a non-reversionary settlement fund to resolve claims related to its January 2025 cybersecurity incident. This amount covers class member recovery, data monitoring costs, counsel fees, and administration expenses. The settlement is not an admission of liability and remains subject to court approval.
