Duke Energy Corporation has completed the first closing of a minority investment in Duke Energy Florida, LLC by an affiliate of Brookfield Super-Core Infrastructure Partners. The investor acquired a 9.2% stake for approximately $2.8 billion and is scheduled to make additional investments totaling $3.2 billion through June 2028 to reach an anticipated 19.7% ownership interest.
