Eldorado Gold Announces First Two Tailings Filter Presses Operational at Skouries Mine

Eldorado Gold Corporation announced that the first two of six tailings filter presses at its Skouries mine in northern Greece are now operational. This milestone supports continuous plant operation and progressive throughput increases as commissioning advances toward commercial production. The facility includes five operating units and one installed spare; four presses are required to support commercial production on sulphide ore, while five are needed for nameplate throughput. Commissioning of the remaining four filter presses is expected to be completed in November 2026. Skouries is expected to produce an average of 140,000 ounces of gold and 67 million pounds of copper annually over the life of mine.
