Eldorado Gold's Skouries Project produces first copper-gold concentrate, targeting 140,000 oz gold annually

EGOEldorado Gold Corp

Eldorado Gold Corporation announced that its wholly owned Skouries Project in northern Greece produced its first copper-gold concentrate on September 8, 2026, marking a key milestone in the transition from construction to operations. The company expects commercial production to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, supported by an ore stockpile exceeding 4.6 million tonnes above reserve grade. Skouries is projected to produce approximately 140,000 ounces of gold and 67 million pounds of copper annually over its life of mine. This development positions Eldorado as a more diversified producer with significant exposure to critical minerals alongside precious metals.
