Eupraxia Pharmaceuticals reported positive symptom response data from its ongoing Phase 1b/2a RESOLVE trial for EP-104GI in patients with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). In Cohorts 7-9, the proportion of patients experiencing moderate to severe odynophagia decreased from 62% at baseline to 25% at weeks 24 and 52 post-treatment. Severe odynophagia was reported by 15% of patients at baseline but by no patients at week 52. Similarly, moderate to severe dysphagia dropped from 77% at baseline to 25% at weeks 24 and 52, with severe cases eliminating entirely post-treatment. The drug demonstrated a favorable safety profile with over 130 patients treated across more than 2,000 injection sites and no serious adverse events reported. Eupraxia anticipates interim data from the Phase 2b placebo-controlled portion of the trial in Q4 2026.
