Genmab announced positive topline results from the global Phase 3 RAINFOL-02 trial of rinatabart sesutecan (Rina-S) in patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. The investigational antibody-drug conjugate met its primary endpoint of progression-free survival and key secondary endpoint of overall survival compared to investigator’s choice chemotherapy. In the intent-to-treat population, Rina-S demonstrated a 71% reduction in the risk of disease progression or death (HR 0.29) and a statistically significant improvement in overall survival (HR 0.43). The safety profile was consistent with prior data, showing no new safety signals. Genmab plans to engage with regulatory authorities worldwide regarding potential next steps for approval.
