HDFC Bank Deputy Managing Director Kaizad Bharucha to step down; Lily Vadera re-appointed as Independent Director

HDFC Bank's Board accepted the resignation of Deputy Managing Director Kaizad Bharucha, effective December 31, 2026, pending regulatory approval from the Reserve Bank of India. The Board also approved the re-appointment of Lily Vadera as an Independent Director for a three-year term starting November 26, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. Vadera brings extensive experience from her tenure as an Executive Director at the RBI. HDFC Bank is one of India's largest private sector banks.
