InflaRx outlines plans for two Phase 2 izicopan trials in AAV starting in 2027 with data expected in 2028

InflaRx announced its clinical development strategy for izicopan at a Capital Markets Day, intending to initiate two Phase 2 trials in ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV) in 2027. The program includes a randomized, placebo-controlled study in patients with renal involvement and an open-label trial exploring glucocorticoid replacement. First data from these studies are anticipated in 2028. The company also plans pilot studies in atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) and IgA nephropathy (IgAN), with initial aHUS data expected in the second half of 2027. InflaRx formed an AAV and renal disease Advisory Board to guide development. The company reported €153.3 million in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities as of September 30, 2026, providing a runway through 2029.
