Nanobiotix reports 41.7% response rate in Phase 1 melanoma study of JNJ-1900 with immunotherapy
NBTXNanobiotix S.A.
Nanobiotix announced final data from a Phase 1 study evaluating JNJ-1900 (NBTXR3) combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors for anti-PD-1-resistant primary cutaneous melanoma. In 24 heavily pre-treated patients, the treatment showed an overall response rate of 41.7% and a disease control rate of 75%, with a median overall survival of 17.8 months. The safety profile was acceptable, and exploratory analysis identified IL-1β as the most increased plasma cytokine. These preliminary findings support further evaluation in randomized clinical trials. Nanobiotix is a late-stage clinical biotechnology company pioneering physics-based therapeutic approaches for cancer.
