Nutrien reports $0.60 Q3 EPS, completes phosphate strategic review

Nutrien reported third-quarter 2026 net earnings of $0.29 billion, or $0.60 diluted earnings per share, with adjusted EBITDA of $1.31 billion. For the first nine months of 2026, the company generated net earnings of $1.65 billion and returned $1.3 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases. Management completed a strategic review of its Phosphate business, deciding to retain and optimize Aurora facilities while shutting down White Springs operations in the second quarter of 2027. The company also revised full-year guidance, lowering phosphate sales volume forecasts and capital expenditures while increasing potash and nitrogen volume targets.
