NVIDIA announced a multi-year partnership with SB Energy to secure land, power, and shell capacity at the PORTS-Pike Technology Campus in Pike County, Ohio, for AI data center infrastructure. NVIDIA invested $1.5 billion in SB Energy and entered into residual value guaranties capping its aggregate payment obligation at $105 billion. These agreements support an initial 4.25 gigawatts of IT load, with options for additional capacity, to be leased by OpenAI starting in 2028. The facility will host NVIDIA's full-stack DSX AI factory platform.
