Petrobras identified hydrocarbons in the Morpho exploratory well (1-BRSA-1405-APS) located in Block FZA-M-59 within the Foz do Amazonas Basin. The discovery is situated approximately 175 km off the coast of Amapá at a water depth of 2,886 meters. Petrobras holds a 100% participating interest as operator and acquired the block under the ANP's 11th Licensing Round in 2013. Exploration activities remain ongoing to evaluate the hydrocarbon-bearing interval identified through wireline logs. This discovery supports the company's strategy to replenish reserves in frontier areas. Petrobras is an integrated oil and gas company engaged in exploration, production, refining, and distribution of petroleum products.
