Petrobras reports record 3Q26 oil production of 3.51 MMboed, up 11.7% year-over-year

Petrobras achieved a record total own production of 3.51 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (MMboed) in the third quarter of 2026, representing an 11.7% increase compared to the same period last year and a 5.3% rise from the second quarter. This performance was driven by the highest operational efficiency levels in eight years, the ramp-up of FPSOs P-78 and P-79 in the Búzios field, and Alexandre de Gusmão reaching peak capacity in Mero. Pre-salt oil production reached 2,454 mbpd, up 6.7% sequentially. The company also reported record domestic sales volumes of 1,854 mbpd and total exports of crude oil and products totaling 1,251 mbpd. Additionally, Petrobras signed long-term natural gas processing contracts at the Catu unit and secured LNG supply agreements with Sempra Infrastructure and Cheniere Marketing to manage market volatility.
