Construction Partners completed its acquisition of the asphalt manufacturing and construction assets of J.H. Strain & Sons, Inc., headquartered in Tye, Texas. The transaction adds two hot-mix asphalt plants, related crews, and equipment serving the greater Abilene area to CPI’s Lone Star Paving platform. The deal brings more than 125 new employees to the company as it expands its presence in a growing West Texas market with significant infrastructure investment opportunities.
