Banco Santander reported H1 2026 results with profit attributable to the parent at EUR 8,973 million, a 31% increase year-on-year. Key strategic events included the completion of the TSB acquisition for approximately GBP 2.9 billion (EUR 3.3 billion) on 30 April 2026 and the completion of the Santander Poland disposal for EUR 7 billion, which generated a net capital gain of EUR 1,895 million.
