Sigma Lithium has fully resumed mining and industrial operations at its Grota do Cirilo mine in Brazil following the signing of a Terms for Adjustment of Procedures (TAC) Agreement with the State of Minas Gerais environmental authorities. The agreement resolves regulatory matters dating from 2013 to 2022, requiring capital expenditures of approximately US$1 million for procedural adjustments and fines up to US$540,000. Sigma Lithium maintains it has not misrepresented information or committed wrongdoing regarding the allegations but agreed to widen and gravel access roads for affected houses. The company reaffirms its production guidance to ramp up to 240,000 tonnes of lithium oxide concentrate within 12 months and targets 330,000 tonnes in fiscal year 2027. Additionally, Sigma Lithium has approved the next stage of haulage fleet upgrades with manufacturer SANY, introducing 75-tonne trucks and 98-tonne excavators to increase capacity. The company is a lithium producer operating one of the world's largest lithium oxide concentrate facilities in Brazil.
