Standard Lithium amends Trafigura offtake deal for up to 12,000 tonnes per year

Smackover Lithium, a partnership between Standard Lithium and Equinor, amended its binding commercial offtake agreement with Trafigura Trading LLC. The amendment increases the maximum possible volumes deliverable on a take-or-pay basis to 12,000 metric tonnes of battery-quality lithium carbonate per year, up from an initial commitment of 8,000 metric tonnes. This addition brings total possible commitments to 20,000 metric tonnes annually, exceeding the project's target and supporting efforts to finalize a $1.1 billion debt financing package for the South West Arkansas Project. Separately, Standard Lithium appointed Ralph Alexander as an independent board member effective immediately.
