Sanofi pays Regeneron $1B upfront plus up to $7B in milestones for expanded immunology alliance
SNYSanofi
Sanofi announced an expansion of its global alliance with Regeneron to include multiple next-generation, long-acting immunology antibodies. The agreement adds REGN20423, a clinical-stage IL-13 monoclonal antibody, along with a long-acting IL-4xIL-13 bispecific and two pre-clinical antibodies. Sanofi will pay Regeneron an upfront fee of $1 billion, with potential milestone payments up to an additional $7 billion. The companies will equally share development costs, commercialization expenses, and future global profits for these new programs. This strategic move aims to accelerate the creation of therapies for immune-mediated diseases beyond their existing Dupixent collaboration.
