WISeKey International Holding AG announced that its planned redomiciliation from Switzerland to the British Virgin Islands is expected to become effective on October 2, 2026. The transaction involves a cross-border merger of WISeKey into its wholly owned BVI subsidiary, WISeQey Corp., which will continue as the surviving entity and assume all assets, rights, liabilities, and obligations. Shareholders approved the merger at an Extraordinary General Meeting on September 9, 2026. Following delisting on October 2, existing securities will be exchanged for new ordinary shares of WISeQey, which are expected to commence trading under the ticker symbol "WQEY" on Nasdaq and the SIX Swiss Exchange around October 5, 2026.
