Willdan completes $285M acquisition of Mantis Innovation, funding deal with new $250M term loan

Willdan Group completed its acquisition of Mantis Intermediate Holdings (doing business as Mantis Innovation) for approximately $285 million in cash. The transaction was financed using $35 million from the company's existing revolving credit facility and a new $250 million term loan facility established under an amendment to its credit agreement. Mantis provides building controls, energy efficiency, advisory, and facility management solutions to commercial and industrial clients across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, and data centers. Willdan is a technical services firm providing energy planning, engineering, consulting, and infrastructure solutions to utilities, governments, and commercial customers in the United States and Canada.
