Sprott Physical Gold Trust filed its interim financial statements for the period ended June 30, 2026. Net assets declined to $14.75 billion ($31.10 per unit) from $15.98 billion at year-end 2025 as gold spot prices fell to $4,008.02 per troy ounce. The Trust reported a net loss of $1.14 billion for the first half of 2026, driven by $1.51 billion in unrealized losses on bullion holdings. During this period, the Trust issued 16.2 million units via its ATM program for $588.4 million and redeemed 17.5 million units for $674.0 million in gold bullion. Operating expenses totaled $1.8 million (0.02% of average net assets annualized). The Trust holds 3,671,731 troy ounces of physical gold bullion.
