Perspective Therapeutics reports 50% ORR in Phase 1/2a trial of VMT-α-NET for neuroendocrine tumors

Perspective Therapeutics announced updated interim results from its ongoing Phase 1/2a clinical trial of [212Pb]VMT-α-NET, a radiopharmaceutical targeting somatostatin receptor subtype 2-expressing neuroendocrine tumors. Presented at the ESMO Congress 2026, data for Cohort 3 (6.0 mCi dose) showed an objective response rate of 50% and a disease control rate of 95%. Across all cohorts, progression-free survival was 72% at 18 months. The treatment was well-tolerated with no dose-limiting toxicities or serious adverse events related to the study medication. The company aims to complete Phase 3 site start-up preparations by year-end 2026 and expects to initiate a registrational trial in 2027 following an End-of-Phase 2 meeting with the FDA.
