Ecopetrol appoints Armando José Cuello Navarro as Executive Vice President of Energy Transition

The Board of Directors appointed Armando José Cuello Navarro as Executive Vice President of Energy Transition, with an expected start date no later than October 27, 2026. Mr. Cuello brings over 17 years of executive experience in the energy sector across Colombia and Peru, including leadership roles at Compañía Energética de Occidente and Promigas Perú, as well as public service as Colombia's Deputy Minister of Energy. The Board also approved Camilo Andrés Rojas Castro as Principal Legal Representative for Goods and Services Procurement and Mauricio Gutiérrez Dangond as First Alternate to the General Legal Representative. These appointments are part of a strategy to strengthen senior management in Ecopetrol's "New Era." Ecopetrol is Colombia's largest integrated energy company, holding leading positions in hydrocarbon production, refining, petrochemicals, gas distribution, and power transmission across Latin America.
