Ecopetrol appoints three new senior management executives to strengthen key capabilities

Ecopetrol S.A.'s Board of Directors appointed three new senior management executives effective October 6, 2026. Mónica Jiménez González was named Corporate Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Secretary, bringing over 20 years of experience in corporate law and governance from roles at GeoPark Ltd. Mauricio Gutiérrez joined as Corporate Vice President of Strategy and New Business, leveraging his background in investment banking and the oil and gas industry. Camilo Rojas was appointed Corporate Vice President of Administration and Services, tasked with leading procurement and supply chain processes based on his public-sector leadership experience. These appointments are part of Ecopetrol's ongoing strategy to strengthen key capabilities for its next phase of development. The company operates in the integrated energy sector, focusing on hydrocarbon exploration, production, refining, petrochemicals, and power transmission across Latin America.
