Ecopetrol S.A.'s Board of Directors announced changes in senior management effective August 31, 2026. Mr. Sergio Andrés Moreno Acevedo ceased serving as Corporate Vice President of Science, Technology and Innovation, with Ms. Diana Marcela Acero Rojas assuming the role on an acting basis starting September 1, 2026. Additionally, Mr. Henryk Manuel Porras Villamil was appointed Acting Executive Vice President of Energy Transition, succeeding Mr. Ernesto Alfonso Gómez Cabarcas, who is taking statutory leave to pursue new opportunities. The company intends to disclose permanent appointments when applicable. Ecopetrol operates in the integrated energy sector, serving as Colombia's largest oil and gas producer with significant interests in refining, petrochemicals, power transmission, and road concessions across Latin America.
