On July 15, 2026, Ecopetrol Investimentos do Brasil, a controlled subsidiary of Ecopetrol S.A., was notified that the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) ruled in its favor regarding an administrative appeal for a public tender offer for the acquisition of shares (OPAV). The CVM declared the previous suspension of the OPAV ineffective and mandated that Ecopetrol Investimentos amend and publish the offer document, including a new auction date, by July 22, 2026. Ecopetrol is an integrated energy company based in Colombia involved in hydrocarbon production, refining, and energy transmission.
