Intermap completes acquisition of PCI Geomatics for $7.7M, doubling recurring revenue

Intermap Technologies completed its acquisition of PCI Geomatics Group Inc., operating as CATALYST, on October 7, 2026. The company used $7.7 million in cash to acquire all outstanding shares not already owned through a court-approved arrangement following shareholder approval and regulatory orders. This transaction adds over 30,000 installed licenses across more than 150 countries, significantly expanding Intermap's global distribution and integrating PCI’s optical image processing capabilities with Intermap’s proprietary 3D data and AI/ML analytics. The deal is expected to double recurring revenue and supports a 2027 commercial revenue guidance of $12–$15 million with approximately $5 million in Adjusted EBITDA.
