VEON reports $488M nine-month profit on $3.78B revenue

VEON Ltd. reported unaudited interim condensed consolidated financial statements for the nine and three months ended September 30, 2026. The company posted a net profit of $488 million ($0.24 basic EPS), compared to $599 million in the prior year period. Revenue increased 17% to $3,779 million from $3,228 million, driven by growth across its Pakistan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Bangladesh segments. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $1,645 million from $1,483 million. The company also announced a third share buyback program for up to 72.5 million shares worth approximately $200. VEON Ltd. is a telecommunications operator providing voice, broadband, and digital services in emerging markets.
